What would be a single wheel motorcycle be like? The idea occurred to the 18-year-old Ben when he came to visit China several years ago where he saw people all around riding bicycles. Ben hoped to make a vehicle which was as environmental-friendly as a bicycle and at the same time more convenient and faster.

It took Ben several years to overcome technological problems. The motorcycle works like a two-wheel e-bike. It starts when the body inclines forward a little bit. Speed is controlled by slanting degree with the forward movement for acceleration and backward movement being for slowing down and drawing back, which is very easy.
Moreover, the motorcycle is very small and can be folded when necessary. As the power source is electricity, it’s very clean. The light 54.5-kg body is a good tool for outdoor sports. The motorcycle can run as fast as 40 km/h. “There is room for a faster speed if we make the engine bigger,” says Ben. |
